Traben Challenge
The Traben Bass Company wanted a marketing piece to help explain and highlight their brands unique value proposition. Their brand promise is “Bigger Bridge, Bigger Tone” and all of their basses use an enlarged bridge design which they claim makes them sound better. Our creative team dreamed up the idea of the Traben Challenge which allowed users to see a Traben bass with the large Traben bridge and one with a traditional bridge. Viewers had a chance to hear the two side by side, an experience that had never before been available. From this test we created a number of videos ranging from this full version to short versions just showing the comparison. Traben has used these videos for several years including on their site, YouTube, for sales training, for sales presentations and at trade shows. They have been key to getting a higher profile for the brand and greater market buy-off on the brand promise.
